The CorollariaRelease date: February 2nd 2013
Synopsis (via Goodreads):
Emily has always felt like there was more to her parents' mysterious death, more to her being sent to live with the Lyall’s when she was fifteen. And definitely more to her inexplicable infatuation with Luke, the Lyall’s youngest son.

Luke can’t help but be drawn to Emily. She has these perfect blue eyes, unlike any he’s ever seen. And he feels a fierce need to protect her. Suddenly, one night, changes everything. He feels conflicted about his feelings and his destiny, as he and Emily are suddenly plunged into a strange new world.

Review: The Corollaria surprised me with fast-paced action and a cute romance. I really enjoy books that add realistic elements to fairytale creatures such as faeries and vampires and this book was no exception. I really enjoyed the plot of this book. It was very fast paced and cut right to the chase. The main plot is introduced right away in the book which avoids unnecessary world building. Don’t worry, the setting is very well introduced by glimpses into various points of view that include the main love interest, Luke and his awesome brother Carson. As stated before, I found the romance in this book to be really cute! I loved the connection that the two main characters shared. I also loved the witty characters, especially Jenny. In general, all the main characters were well-written and awesomely described. I loved the point of view. The Corollaria was written in 3rd person point of view with glimpses into the minds of surrounding characters. It was really interesting to read and imagine. Overall, this book is a must-read for anyone looking to escape reality in a world of supernatural creatures and romance!
